School Policies

Students must log in at least three times per week for continuous enrollment at the college. Students will need to post at least twice per week for the initial discussions.  This is due on Friday.  Students have until Sunday to reply to classmates. Online requirements are in addition to The Blue Cliff College attendance policy is found at here.


Students and Staff will hold the highest regard to honesty and integrity. The policy is no cheating and plagiarizing  and they will not be tolerated  by this university. This university uses Turnitin. The instructor has the right to request a rewrite for any document submitted with a score of 20 percent or more. Student appeals and violations, Grievances, student conduct violations will be investigated as reported through the necessary channels. Noncompliance to the academic integrity policy can lead to expulsion from the college.  


Cyber stalking, inappropriate messages, and belligerent behavior will not be tolerated and must be reported to the university staff or professor. Non compliance is subject to college expulsion after warnings and the appropriate investigations are conducted.  If the investigation warrants, the student can be asked to leave the college.

Outcome 5 Technology Ethics Revision Update

 Emphasize to the students that they cannot leave patient records in open view on their computers.  There is an example on the Patient Education blog.   This blog is also on the clinics page of the virtual hospital.  They must have patient consent at the first meeting.  They cannot print patient records from the computer for use.  Patients will not be involved in advertisement on the website, or referred to by name at these fundraising activities even if the patient is present.  Patient payment information and identifying numbers must be coded.
